A little about me.
My life is beautifully discombobulated. I wasn’t raised in the country I was born in, nor born in the country my parents were raised in, and after 26 years of living in 5 different countries, I still don’t know where I am from. Regardless, I am most at home in the ocean. From the moment I sank my head below the surface and saw my first reef, I was hooked. My drive for ocean sciences grew exponentially and resulted in me graduating from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with distinguished honors and a B.S in Marine Biology. Now, I am a 1st year Ph.D. Student in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California at Santa Cruz. I am also a Divemaster and growing underwater photographer and videographer. I hope you enjoy scrolling through this site and feel free to ask me any questions.
